Your membership allows you a huge array of benefits from ICCM.
Through your membership with ICCM you are eligible to receive: Group Health, Life & Disability Insurance quotes, including catastrophic insurance for terminal illness such as cancer and heart disease, short–term and long–term disability, group life insurance, long–term care and impaired risk life insurance. Rates and costs vary from state to state. Church small group quotes as well as individual quotes are available.
By attending the ICCM’s Annual Conference you’ll have access to this information: Retirement Plans, ChurchGift Program, Estate Planning Seminar, Faith–Based Grants Seminar, Living Trust Seminar, Deferred Housing Trust Seminar and Legacy Program. There is availability to acquire information for yourself, local church or nonprofit ministry. ICCM also offers tax preparation for our members, churches and nonprofit ministries.
Your credentials from ICCM will help you be recognized in the calling that God has placed on your life and give you credibility in the community you serve, other churches and Christian ministries. All applications are carefully and prayerfully considered, and all applicants receive a copy of the ICCM Constitution and Bylaws for review prior to their telephone interview.
Categories For Ministerial Credentials ORDAINED MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL ORDAINED CHAPLAIN OF THE GOSPEL This credential is granted to a person who is considered a part–time or a full–time minister. He or she is certified and authorized to preach, perform holy matrimony, baptize, exhort, confirm and practice any Biblical and religious activity pertaining to the office of an Ordained Minister in accordance with respective ordinances of residence. Your ordination will be secured after your application and examination are completed and will be effective immediately when you receive your diploma in the mail. A formal consecration service for ordination will be at each Annual Conference by representatives of the Board of Governors. TEN REQUIREMENTS FOR ORDINATION – (1) Must be at least 22 years of age, (2) Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, (3) Living a consistent Christian life, (4) Baptized in the Holy Spirit, (5) Be an approved and faithful member in a local church or fellowship, (6) Write an in-depth letter of one’s calling from God, (7) Have three letters of recommendation attesting to the applicant’s Christian character and calling, one from a pastor (recommender must have known the applicant for 2 years), (8) Addresses and phone numbers of recommenders. (9) Copy of your driver's license, (10)completion of Biblical Examination. ICCM does not accept applications for membership from incarcerated applicants (inmates).
LICENSED MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL This credential is granted to a person who is considered a part–time minister, possibly desiring to be a full–time minister but needs the experience of teaching and performing the sacraments of the Scripture and the recognition of ministerial status among the community at large, as well as, other Christian churches or ministries. Once licensed you are eligible to advance to the ordination level after 1 year. A new application plus additional fees are required. EIGHT REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE – (1) Must be at least 18 years of age, (2) Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, (3) Living a consistent Christian life, (4) Baptized in the Holy Spirit, (5) Be an approved and faithful member to a local church or fellowship, (6) Have a letter of recommendation attesting to the applicant’s Christian character (recommender must have known the applicant for 2 years and provide address and phone number). (7) Copy of your driver's license, (8) completion of Biblical Examination.
EVANGELIST This credential is granted to a person who has a burning passion to share their faith with nonbelievers and believers alike, to ground and establish them in their relationship to Jesus Christ. This credential gives this person the recognition they need to hold revivals, church meetings, seminars, and teach Bible based classes. EIGHT REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE – (1) Must be at least 18 years of age, (2) Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, (3) Living a consistent Christian life, (4) Baptized in the Holy Spirit, (5) A passion to fulfill the great commission. (6) Copy of your driver's license, (7) a letter of reference and (8) completion of Biblical Examination.
MISSIONARY This credential is granted to one who has a calling from God to the mission fields whether foreign or within their inner cities. This person feels a calling to the hopeless and helpless. SEVEN REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE – (1) Must be at least 16 years of age, (2) Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, (3) Living a consistent Christian life, (4) Baptized in the Holy Spirit. (5) Copy of your driver's license, (6) a letter of reference and (7) completion of Biblical Examination.
MINISTER OF MUSIC This credential is granted to one who has a calling in directing choirs, ensembles, singing groups, bands or is a psalmist themselves and has a calling from God in music. SEVEN REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE – (1) Must be 14 years of age, (2) Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, (3) Living a consistent Christian life, (4) Have a gift from God in music, (5) Send us a resume of your qualifications or life experiences (Please send us an audio CD or tape of your musical talent). (6) Copy of your driver's license, (7) Letter of reference from your Pastor.
PRAISE and WORSHIP LEADER This credential is granted to one who has a calling in leading others in praise and worship unto the Lord. A psalmist in the Body of Christ. SIX REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE – (1) Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, (2) Living a consistent Christian life, (3) Gifted in leading others into the presence of God through praise and worship, (4) Send us a resume of your qualifications or life experiences (or send a CD or audio cassette of a praise and worship service you led). (5) Copy of your driver's license, (6) Letter of reference from your Pastor.
CHRISTIAN WORKER This credential is granted to one who has a calling upon their life and wants to be involved in Christian activities as service unto the Lord. This area of service can be in any field of helps within the Church or community that brings honor and glory to God. This is a ministry of helps being equipped for service. FOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE – (1) Accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, (2) Accepting God’s path of purpose toward finding your place of ministry and calling in God. (3) Copy of your driver's license, (4) Letter of reference from your Pastor.
